Asian Development Tour (ADT) announced the provisional schedule 2017 season, which will feature 17 tournaments beginning, and then will be followed by several additional tournaments that will be announced when the 2017 season starts rolling.


Circuit development of Asia, which was launched in 2010 and has proven to be a successful platform for golfers to build the game and fully prepared towards the Asian Tour.


In the spring of 2017, Malaysia once again become a core part of the ADT Schedule which will host 11 tournaments, largely thanks to a strong partnership with the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour. ADT also will feature tournaments in several countries such as Chinese Taipei, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.


Three tournaments will make its debut on the ADT in Malaysia next season – PGM Panasonic Championship in February, PGM Eurasia Sabah Championship in August and PGM Eurasia Silver Championship in November.


ADT 2016 season, ending with a tournament title Boonchu Ruangkit Championship held in Thailand last week. With a total of 24 tournaments were successfully held in 2016 season, a total ADT has given a gift of more than 1.7 Million US Dollar.


In addition, the top five positions in the ADT Order of Merit get a “promotion” to the Asian Tour in the 2017 season.

Aug 9-12: Aboitiz Invitational, TBC, US$100,000

Aug 16-19: PGM EurAsia Sabah Championship, Sabah GC, RM200,000 (approx. US$44,600)

Aug 23-26: Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament, Damai Indah Golf, BSD Course, US$100,000

Oct 11-14: PGM MNRB Championship, Sarawak GCC, RM200,000 (approx. US$44,600)
